Green Tech Vault Data Wipe Waiver and Release of Liability

By checking this box and submitting your device(s) to Green Tech Vault, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Data Wipe Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that all personal and sensitive data has been completely and securely wiped from your device(s) prior to submitting them to Green Tech Vault.

Inspection and Verification: Green Tech Vault will conduct a reasonable inspection of your device(s) to verify the absence of accessible data. However, Green Tech Vault can’t guarantee the detection of all forms of data or hidden partitions.

Data Breach Liability: Green Tech Vault shall not be held liable for any data breaches, unauthorized access, or misuse of data resulting from your failure to adequately wipe your device(s) when you have checked off stating you have pre wiped your devices. If any hard drives are present they will be pulled and destroyed. For businesses requiring R2 capabilities, we have partnered with R2 certified facilities that can provide a certificate of destruction and will invoice the business for said certificate.

Device Destruction: If Green Tech Vault’s inspection reveals the presence of accessible data and the device cannot be unlocked, Green Tech Vault reserves the right to destroy the device to prevent unauthorized access to your data.

Release of Liability: You hereby release Green Tech Vault, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, or losses arising from or related to the submission, handling, inspection, or destruction of your device(s).

Agreement: By checking this box and submitting your device(s), you signify your understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Please ensure that you have thoroughly wiped your device(s) before submitting them to Green Tech Vault. If you are unsure about the data wipe process, please see our data wipe instructions, consult with a qualified technician, or utilize secure data erasure software.
